Afrideca Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor in Windhoek. The successful candidate will support project cost management, measurement, budgeting, valuations, contract administration and financial control of construction activities. This position requires extensive quantity surveying experience and the ability to independently manage project measurements, subcontractor valuations, cost documentation and final accounts. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Carry out accurate project measurements and quantity surveying calculations. • Prepare and review measurements relating to construction works and project progress. • Manage subcontractor valuations and verify work completed against project requirements. • Prepare and maintain quality control documentation associated with project activities. • Compile monthly valuations and assist with project financial reporting. • Prepare and manage final accounts for completed project works. • Prepare material requisitions according to project requirements and construction schedules. • Support cost estimation, budgeting and ongoing project cost control. • Assist with contract administration and maintain accurate commercial and project records. • Monitor project expenditure and assist in identifying cost variations and potential financial risks. • Work with project teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost and valuation information. • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: • Relevant Quantity Surveying degree or diploma. • Minimum of 10 years' experience in quantity surveying or a closely related project environment. • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration. • Candy software experience will be an advantage. • Computer literate. • Fluent in Afrikaans and English. • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. • Strong time-management and organisational skills. • Strong numerical, analytical, measurement and project cost-control abilities.
