Finance and Operations (D3)

Public Accountants and Auditors Board is seeking an experienced Manager: Finance and Operations (D3) to oversee financial strategy, operational systems, payroll management, ICT infrastructure, and regulatory compliance within the organization. The successful candidate will ensure efficient financial processing, accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strong internal controls while supporting operational excellence and strategic growth. Purpose of the Position: • Develop financial and operational strategies for the organization • Oversee budgeting, payroll, ICT systems, and financial reporting • Manage company assets and ensure regulatory compliance • Implement best practices and internal controls within the financial environment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Financial management and statutory reporting expertise • Budgeting and forecasting experience • Financial risk management and strategic planning skills • Experience preparing annual financial statements and audit reports • ICT management and control knowledge • Procurement and administration management • Payroll management experience • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Key Performance Areas: • Annual financial and monthly management reporting • EXCO and REMCO reporting • Cost analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting • VAT, PAYE, VET, SSC compliance management • Reconciliations and financial controls • Audit management and financial statement reporting • Team leadership and stakeholder relationship management Qualifications & Experience: • Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Professional designation such as CA, CIMA, or ACCA is an advantage • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years at supervisory level • Experience managing accounts and financial statements in a computerized environment • Valid Code B driver’s license
