Counter Sales

A company in the steel and hardware industry is recruiting a Counter Sales candidate with strong sales experience and product knowledge. The role includes customer service, handling enquiries, quotations, sales support, stock sourcing, and developing new business opportunities. Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the steel and hardware industry * Relevant product knowledge for the industry * Syspro experience is an advantage * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to meet monthly sales and GP targets Responsibilities: * Assist customers with enquiries and sales * Answer incoming calls and convert enquiries into sales * Source stock and provide quotations through Syspro * Follow up on backorders and customer satisfaction * Develop new sales opportunities through cold calling * Liaise with warehouse and external sales staff * Handle administrative duties
