Cross Border Driver – Jet.X

FP du Toit Transport Group is seeking an experienced Cross Border Driver – Jet.X to join its transport division based in Windhoek (Brakwater). This opportunity is ideal for professional long-distance drivers with cross-border logistics experience and knowledge of regional freight transport across Southern Africa. The successful candidate will transport freight across international borders, complete transport documentation, perform vehicle inspections, maintain safety standards, and ensure timely deliveries to destinations including Namibia, Botswana, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. About the Role Safely transport freight across Southern Africa while ensuring full compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities * Transport freight across international borders. * Complete MDC registers and trip sheets. * Load and offload consignments safely. * Conduct daily vehicle inspections. * Report vehicle defects immediately. * Follow road safety and company procedures. * Ensure deliveries are completed without damage. * Maintain transport documentation. * Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy. * Support additional transport operations as required. Minimum Requirements * Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate. * Minimum 3 years’ cross-border driving experience. * Valid Namibian passport. * Valid Code 14 / CE driver’s licence. * Minimum 5 years’ driving experience. * Valid PDP (Dangerous Goods). * Knowledge of routes to Namibia, Botswana, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. * Strong English and Afrikaans communication skills. * Valid Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 3 months). * Namibian citizen.
